Blogger's Quilt Festival - Dolly's Sleeping Bag

To encourage my little gal to enjoy her time with Dolly - I created a little sleeping bag for her. I grew up reading the Flower Fairy books by Cicely Mary Barker and when I saw that Micheal Miller had printed some fabrics in this range - how could I resist?

My little one goes to bed with her "Cuddly" - a favourite blanket. I had some left over hexagons so I made one for the Dolly too.

The ric-rac was a challenge to insert but I think it is a cool feature.

Back - I experimented with machine pieced hexagons and the tiny triangles.

A detail of the front panel - you can see I used my "go to" wavy quilting.

Mrs Tiggy-Winkle (I'm not sure where Dolly is and so for a substitute) is ready to go CAMPING!
